Ignition Interlock Device

A person convicted as a super drunk, BAC of .17% or more, will be required to operate a vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock device for 320 days. In addition, a person whose license is revoked and is granted a license after winning his or her first license restoration hearing is required to have an ignition interlock device installed on his vehicle for 1 year. A second hearing is required to request full restoration of license provided the person has had an ignition interlock device installed on a vehicle for 1 year.
