The 35th District Court and Plymouth
The City of Plymouth is located just south of Oakland County, and is home to 9,132 people. Bordered by Canton, Livonia and Northville the city spans approximately 2.2 square miles. The city was first settled in 1825 by a pair of Connecticut farmers, and is fifteen miles east of Ann Arbor.
LandmarksRight in the center of Downtown Plymouth is Kellogg Park and, along with eleven other parks, Kellogg Park hosts many family-friendly events that take place throughout the year. The downtown area also has picturesque shops, restaurants and historical landmarks. Plymouth also plays host to several art galleries, including Lotus Art Gallery and Arts and Ideas Gallery. For the past five years the city has hosted a Green Street Fair, in which the participants teach visitors about eco-friendly products and services. In May of 2012, the Fair will be celebrating its fifth anniversary in Plymouth.
