Troy and the 52-4 District Court
The City of Troy was incorporated in 1955, after Troy Township was organized over one hundred years prior. Troy covers 33.6 square miles and is home to 80,980 people. Voted the safest city in Michigan in 2011, Troy is also the 19th safest city in the nation and was voted one of the "Best Places to Live" in the US by CNN Money.
