While attending college, Matthew externed for a Federal Judge in Michigan’s Eastern District, worked as a summer associate for a large Macomb County firm, served as an Associate Editor for the Journal and proudly served as intern for two (2) Michigan Senators. In addition, Matthew received the jurisprudence award for the highest grade in his class in both Professional Responsibility and Conflict of Laws. Matthew, a member of the Macomb County Bar Association, has experience practicing criminal and civil law in District and Circuit courts in Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties. Further, he is experienced in the area of license restoration and has won many cases before the Secretary of State, Driver Assessment and Appeals Division. Additionally, with Matthew La Grasso, another Macomb County based attorney, he specializes in the burgeoning field of medical marijuana law.
